Raquel Williams is a favorite among music fans in South Florida. Originally born in Jamaica, her voice has taken her to four continents, thirteen countries and countless cities and venues throughout the world. Boasting a 4 octave range, and an eclectic style, Raquel effortlessly moves through a variety of genres, from Jazz, Motown and R & B to big band, swing, dance.
Don’t let her youthful appearance fool you, she is no newcomer. Her professional career began at the age of five when her mother Hope, a music teacher got her a paying “gig” singing Amazing Grace at a funeral. She took her first piano lesson shortly after. She fined tuned her craft studying privately for three years with Dr. Carolyn Stanford.
